- Abrir a reunião
- Pedir a palavra
- Concordar
- Discordar com educação
- Pedir para repetir ou esclarecer
- Ganhar tempo para pensar
- Propor e definir próximos passos
- Fechar a reunião

- I see your point, but…
- I see your point, but the numbers tell a different story.
- I'm not sure I agree.
- I'm not sure I agree. Can we look at the data again?

Pedir para repetir ou esclarecer
Perguntar de novo é sinal de atenção, e ninguém liga. Ficar quieto e perder o ponto custa mais caro.

Três deslizes comuns de brasileiros em reunião
- Traduzir "eu acho que sim" como "I think yes". Em inglês é "I think so". E "acho que não" é "I don't think so".
- Discordar direto demais. "No, that's wrong" soa agressivo. Comece reconhecendo: "I see your point, but…".
"Sorry, could you say that again?" resolve em dois segundos.
Mini-roteiro para a sua próxima reunião
- Abertura: "Thanks for joining. The goal of this meeting is to…"
- Quando perder o fio: "Just to make sure I understand…"
- Fechamento: "To sum up… Who will own this? By when?"
